Grill Bot (Sustainable redesign)
The Grill Bot has been redesigned to be more sustainable for the environment. The functions remained the same but there were major changes with the materials and aesthetics. The goal of this project is to reduce its environmental impact by at least 50%.
Original Product
This is the grillbot that I originally worked with. The product consists of unsustainable materials which makes a bad impact on our environment.
Take It Apart
I disassembled the packaging and product to determine how much harm does this product inflict on the environment.
After calculating the environmental impact according to Okala Practitioner: Integrating Ecological Design, I decided to reduce the size of the grillbot and change the materials used to manufacture it.
