Sleeping Bag Unlinked

Convertible Sleeping Bag

CONVERTIBLE Sleeping Bag

The convertible sleeping bag is a product for homeless people who are on the go. On the outside, it looks like an ordinary sleeping bag. It can be transformed into a shawl in seconds. This feature is included so homeless people do not have to carry around a sleeping bag and jacket. The product is not limited to homeless and can be used by anyone who needs it.

Story Board

I created 3 differed personas as my targeted audience. These three have different lives as homeless people and require different things to survive.

Interview

During my ideation process, I went out to present my concept to homeless people in San Jose. I got a lot of feedback on how I should polish my design. This was also when I learned that the shape needs to be simple because not everyone is crafty or knows how to sew.
