Niko Projector

Having trouble getting your kids to sleep? Use this projector to tell bedtime stories while projecting it onto a wall. Kids have the option to choose their stories via APP. Once bed time story is finished, parents can take the device back to their room and project movies for a movie night.

The goal for this project is to design a product for your smart device and practice model making. I went out to thrift stores and searched for interesting functional mechanism as a design inspiration.

Story Board

I choose to design a pico projector for families. Parents can play a story time animation for their kids rather than reading a book. After putting their kids to sleep, the parents can use the same projector and watch their own movies.
